How is test performed? Nasal/throat swab like flu?
I can tell you that my decade in the ER as a RN how many false positives and negatives there are for flu... Not in that line of work anymore so not sure how the CV19 test is administered.
If you get tested, be sure the person scrapes your nasal passage if it collected via the nose.

Nasal swab, 10 to 15 seconds each nostril.

10-15 actually sounds sufficient. Thanks for the response;)

They swabbed the back of my throat and inside of my cheeks.

Wife had it done. Mouth swab then a lance shoved up each of her nostrils almost into her brain ! Looked extremely unpleasant - don’t think you want to get tested unless absolutely necessary
