10 yrs on the job, FF/paramedic, I’m also involved in swift water rescue as a swimmer. I’ve been fortunate enough to have several successful rescues in those scenarios. I say that to say that I’d like to think I’m fairly ok at mitigating risk and knowing when to make a move and when not to. I’m confident I would attempt some heroically sketchy stuff to rescue some kids. Most likely to my own detriment. However I’m not gonna pass judgement just yet on those guys in Uvalde. From the outside looking in it looks REALLY bad on them no doubt. Hopefully more info will come out.

These baws trained 2 months before for a school shooter. They passed on doing everything their training taught them to do. The vaginitis was skrong that day. They also all had body armor and AR's in those $60k vehicles they are provided to ride around in.

I guess they couldn't go into action because nobody needed a ticket for a California stop.
