If you hold your left arm out to the side,have someone try to push your arm down while you try to resist, if you cant resist that it may be rotator issue.
I'm currently rehabbing a frozen shoulder, been months,
I had 5% lateral rotation, couldn't get my left hand behind my left pocket, It's has really affected my golf game, doc said I should be 100% in 6 months. lot of excercise at home

Hold your hand out in front of you and have your palm facing in and rotate it down/underneath and out-pretty much give a thumbs down and push it far as you can-. If that hurts then its very likely your rotator
