Question for my wrestling fans

Last time I watched wrestling it was still WWF,so i'm out of the loop. Can someone tell me what the deal is with the Raw and Smackdown brands now? Do wrestlers only face wrestlers from the same brand. Do 2 separate people control these brands? Do people like this?

I haven't watched since Austin quit. But I think they try to make it two completely separate different shows.
Either way since Vince took the company public it's been a shitshow.
If they had any competent competition that had money like Turner did, maybe it would light a fire under Vince.
You aren't supposed to bleed, chair shots are gone..it's all scripted and guys can't "be themselves". Their best thing to offer, is when a wrestler from the 90s makes a return.
I think Vince hates "wrestling". He tries so hard to be "sports entertainment".
