I remember Scoot at WRNO.
About 75% of the DJs at WRNO back then were gay. Weird Wayne, Mike e.t.c....

his "look" from 70s and 80s was classic...

He's a classic, 70's DJ/Personality. Make of that what you will, but he was much better at that schtick and morning drive, than he is now as a WWL host.
His voice, I like, because it's the voice of my teen years, when he went from WRNO to WEZB-97 in the early 80s to compete with Walton and Johnson who were local, then, on WQUE-Q93.
He's all over the map, and on the fence too much. If you disagree with him, he sputters, hangs up, and calls your discussion a "rant." He did that to me on FB, once, and I was polite to him, I complimented him as part of my expression, more than once. He responded with "nice rant" and tried to take issue. I then nailed him for his ignorance of the difference between a debate (supported with fact) and a rant, and then with the fact that rants are rarely complimentary and I clearly was.
