TB is airborne and much more contagious. You can just be in the same room as someone with it and possibly have gotten infected. Actually....you can be in another part of a building and if the rooms share the same air handler....you could have been exposed.
COVID isn’t like that. Yeah certain things can aerosolize the virus temporarily and cause it to be airborne....but that is temporary and only in certain situations (ex: when intubating a patient, etc).
