Was driving through rural Arkansas once using a Garmin and ended up deeeep in the woods on a dirt road that was supposed to be a highway. The only thing missing was the banjos. They aren’t fool proof.

Waze is certainly the most effective / up-to-date of any with which I'm familiar. Mostly I just don't like Waze talking to me all the time, so I reserve it for high degree-of-difficulty situations. For normal stuff I like to just look where I'm going and go.
