I might add that a good 4-way lug wrench is gold when having to change a flat tire.

I have bailed out several people struggling with one of those pathetic factory lug wrenches when changing a flat tire. It's hard to get any leverage with them.

Oh yeah, to those talking about 'road side' assistance. Without checking, it would be safe to assume that at least 90% of drivers out there do not have it. So there you go.

I have always adhered to the Boy Scout motto, 'Be prepared'.

A couple cans of Fix-A-Flat, a short 4"x4" wood block to chock the wheels and a good hard pine piece of 2"x6" wood to set your jack on would go a long way to bail you or someone else out of a jam.

I purchased a full-size spare that I keep in my trunk.
