Probable pit bull attack?

I am at a rest area on I-77 in North Carolina. The Sheriff,Animal Control,and an ambulance are here. The sheriff is talking to a girl in a beat up arse oldsmobile with Ohio plates. Animal control and ambulance just now left. The girl is very upset,but she has a young pit puppy on a leash now. I think there must have been another dog that animal control hauled away.
Ohio car left, following right behind the sheriff.
Damn, I can't believe that car made it here from Ohio.
