Go the cheap route like others have given info for. Get her two pair so you always have a spare. I really don't think a young child needs a bunch of extras on glasses, just to sit in a classroom. She may need a day or two to adjust to different lenses but she'll be ok. I've had both types: really cheap and really expensive, couldn't tell much difference until I started driving.

Get a hard copy of the script, buy a pair from Zenni Optical, Coastal, or any other online group that sells frames and lenses.

I have had the upgrades but decided this time to not do them. They are fine.
