Let them spend a week in Manila or Lagos or Kingston or Port-au-Prince if they want to see/experience true poverty.
The "poor" in the USA would be upper middle class in over 90% of the countries in the world.

Nearly everyone on here is posting about something they think they know about, or heard somebody else say, but not from personal experience. Louisiana is one of the most fricked up states in the country. When people say that poverty doesn't exist anymore, they might be talking about other states that have competent people and governments running them. Louisiana and Mississippi are getting very close to a third world country, and even have a higher murder rate than areas of the same size in third world nations. Again, the people posting this bullshite are the modern day ignorant Trumpists, and are brainless Yahoos!

And they will argue that’s not true because people who are wrong are rooted in their wrongness more than the person who is correct is going to spend time arguing with them.

Dude you can’t read.
A lot of us have said plenty of times we have been all over the world.

If you have been all over the world, then you are entitled if you have that much money, and are out of touch with everyone else in the real world. You probably had your parents give you everything and don't know what work is.

My family has been all over the world defending US interests for you to be able to make comments like this.
You know nothing and from the sounds of it you are an enemy to me and mine. Good luck lad.

Oh, military. Then that means that you have blind patriotism. The biggest traitors today are the ones in uniform. They will turn their guns on American citizens if ordered to do so, and won't question those orders. Good luck to you also, lad. I'm probably your senior.

You are something else, a bit of a commie.

If you read my last few posts, I'm just giving you an example of what you are doing with these broad generalizations.

This is nonsense as many posters are very clearly speaking from personal experience. But at the same time, anecdotal evidence (aka personal experience) isn't evidence at all.
THIS is evidence:
quote:
Louisiana and Mississippi are getting very close to a third world country, and even have a higher murder rate than areas of the same size in third world nations.
Only in the highly Democrat run areas like Jackson MS or New Orleans. Those people need to change their voting patterns if they want to actually fix the problems.

I see you are exhibit A of what I mentioned above.

I have been reading your bullshite all day. I stand by my words.

Man, don't come up with your bullshite charts. Another fricking chart that nobody know is credible or more political propaganda. Which propaganda site did you get this from? This entire site is nothing but paid trolls, similar to reddit. Nothing posted here is credible.

He/she is an attention seeker.

First, I'm not a commie. I just call things the way I see them. Modern day capitalism is bringing the US to destruction just like communism did to eastern Europe. Nearly everything said by politicians is staged bullshite.
I also know that trolls are talking tiny bits of information and using it to push political propaganda and manipulate opinions. These trolls are probably working for the military/intelligence. That means that these trolls are doing the same thing that the communist E. German stasi did. That's why I say that the biggest traitors are the ones in uniform. Its communist to try to and manipulate the political system. That's why our president doesn't wear a military uniform with metals dangeling off of it.

Based on your posting history, I certainly do believe you know a whole lot about what isn't credible.
Unlike you, though, what I post is 100% credible and I can always support what I say with actual evidence. Are you ever going to provide anything that supports ANY of your claims?

You have basically ignored my points. These states have a higher murder rate than many third world countries of the same populous, a higher HIV rate, and the USA as a whole has had a quarter million people die from fentanyl. And the government is trolling the internet and playing E German Stasi, if you are old enough to know what that was. That sounds like we are getting close to third world status, or at least second world.
Most of the wealth is isolated in the hands of the very upper elite. 1% owns 90% of the wealth, which always happens in capitalist societies. SO, thanks for your biased bullshite chart!
But of course, according to you, it will all change now that Trump is in office. bullshite!

I had the misfortune of eating at Applebees the other evening. Not included the children, the average weight was easily 300 pounds. At least 1, probably 2 we’re well over 400.

If you have an iPhone, 200 direct tv channels, air conditioning, a refrigerator full of food and are obese you aren’t poor.

Specifically because of the areas I mentioned.

We should probably do a better job closing off the southern border to keep this stuff out. Wouldn't you agree?

It always comes back to jelousy with you morons.
Tell us the country where wealth is more "equally distributed" and the average person lives a better life than in the USA.
If you happen to land on the less than 3 countries this might apply to, tell us how their system would work here.

The fentanyl issue is the only item you mentioned that can be almost completely fixed by the federal government.
