I’ve also got a silver one now. My kids got it for me this past Christmas. The gold one you see was also a gift except it was from my brother.
As for the guitar, I play the bass. Or at least I play at it.

at least we try, used to play in a band that had a standing practice date of every Wednesday night from 6-9(pre-kids,) was some of the most fun I've ever had, we would face the drummer as we played, afterwards go have beers and tell ourselves how great we were, he would always say that no matter how old and ugly we really were, when we were playing and he looked at our eyes we were all 17 again

Yep. I use to get with some buds to jam. Wouldn’t really even call is a band. Now mostly I just play in my man cave when the urge strikes me.
