I remember our one Sterlington team use to have to always go to Ocstraland, Swartz, Bastrop, and such to play baseball.
We probably played against each other a time or two...

The sumbitch was full of hair, full grown man beard, and weighed 225 pounds at 13. I lost contact with him after one of those summers. I figured he had several mouths to feed by the time he was 16, provided that was his real age when he was throwing that speed ball by everyone.

This is good news for us, but still sucks for the other Ray. Not sure our Marto could survive another crash. His last one broke several dozen bones.
I know him too but haven't seen him in years. We thought it was him until my Dad talked to his pops. Glad it wasn't.
