Like I said I've fostered over a hundred, but we do have a collection of "foster failures" that are ours permanently.
Anywhere from parvo issues ( which they're fine now) to behavior issues that we didn't trust someone being committed to the "special" personality is how I have a few more than 1 dog now.
Not to totally derail this thread, but this country's dog problem of overpopulation could be cured if idiots that have dogs would just fix them before they breed a bunch of litters.
Some act like "I just can't do that to my dog by cutting his nuts off. Just doesn't seem right".
But, then it's ok to drop off all his or her puppies alongside a country road

I know.
I lived off one such road in Thibodaux.
It didn't effect me as a kid, but gets to me now.
