My Uncle was in Hospice care dying of stomach cancer. My Dad, his Brother, was sitting with him and he kept asking if my Dad saw their childhood dog at the foot of his bed.. Dad said he couldn't see him, but but he believed he was there... He looked at my Dad and asked where his wife was. Dad said she went to shower and would be right back. My Uncle looked at my Dad and said good I didn't want to upset her and closed his eyes and died.
My Father in law told me the night he died that so many people were in the room with him that, in his words, "it was a party" and he needed them to get a little more quiet.. I hope that many people come get me.
