They could have at least stopped at Homedepot and grabbed one of those fertilizer spreaders.
That would have been hilarious. The hand held ones you wind with the handle.

You’re a fricking idiot. Get off the internet. You think naming a storm makes your deductible go up? L - O - fricking - L
I can't help if you don't know how to read your insurance policy, 'tard. There is a named storm deductible. I have no idea how some of you remember how to breathe or make it through a day.

I’m not sure who you are insured with but I literally just read my policy and checked my state. I don’t even have a hurricane deductible and I live in the southeast (maybe you live in the north and it’s something I’m unaware of even though I have 20 years experience). You may have some random insurance company but I’ll only believe you if you can take a picture of your policy where the “named winter storm” has a different deductible. I’m attaching my states website and some screenshots from Google.

Focus on the word hurricane in the article.
I’ve also attached the Louisiana department of insurance and if you see winter storm let me know.

Here’s the definition of a named storm in the above article.
The United States National Weather Service (NWS) has refrained from commenting on the system and stated that they do not name winter storms.
The weather channel can name storms but the NWS does not name them.
