Went through a similar situation, we went to UAB which was great. We had other issues too and ended up at Cincinnati Children's which was fantastic.

Ours had her's done in Boston (AV/tetrology) and Hixon is her local cardiologist. He did a heart cath in Baton Rouge on her but never surgery.
We met the UAB doctor that was modeling the UAB team after the one in Boston.
We got to know him because we were there 3 1/2 weeks and he would go on the rounds with all the doctors and come to the NICU and talk to us.
It's likely what Baton Rouge OLOL Children's Hospital will do as well, they will go shadow another hospital.

In Lafayette, Dr. Naidu is great. We had to see him for our son, guy is very thorough.

This is who we saw for my son, I completely agree.

Texas Children's is ranked as the #1 pediatric cardiology hospital in the country for the past three years. They have a new tower that was opened last year. If I were in your situation I would go there.

Naidu recommended there as his first pic and NO as the second. We went to Tx Children’s and were happy.

Our pediatrician referred us to Dr.Katherine Lindal . She comes from Texas Children’s hospital and now works with Ochsners Group. The echo is on Thursday.

Thanks Again and I have been researching the docs that was recommended by some of you. I will get second opinion no matter the outcome of test.
