I'm a 5 digit guy...I don't own a 16570 (just for the sake of clarity 16750 is a GMT Master reference), but it's on my list. The 5 digit cases fit my wrist better and sit more comfortably. To me 42 mm gets big and the super case profile wears big. The clasp on the bracelets on the 6 digit models are clearly superior. Though I will say I always thought the easy-link would be a big deal, but rarely use it on the two I have with it (214270 and 116710).

I'm a big fan of GMT watches, and have and have 6 digit 116710LN and a 5 digit 16710 "A" serial number w/Pepsi Bezel. I don't love the maxi dials or the super cases on the current 6 digit lineup. I think the 116710 looks great in the watch box, but don't love it on the wrist. Those 5 digit Rolexes are so comfortable you can forget you're wearing them.

It all comes down to what you like, and what you can get your hands on. It's not hard at all to get your hands on a 16570 (either dial color), reasonably priced with box and papers (for my experience provenance is very important with regard to vintage watches). You could have issues getting hands on a 216570, but if you are considering one may already have a line on one.
