Untrue , because the spacers sit ON TOP of the strut, they don't affect the travel at all. not one bit.
it effects the travel of the upper and lower control arm.

Have you checked to see if that year model has adjustable torsion bars? May only need to crank em up a little bit to level the truck

For GOd's sakes, this truck has a coil over strut front suspension.

It all depends on how much you want to spend and how much lift do you want? Since it is already a 6/7 year old truck I would just shop around for a real lift instead of a spacer lift. You can find a suspension package on rough country or a few other websites and get the new struts and springs. Yes it is cheaper buying a spacer to put on the existing suspension but I would do it right and purchase the entire kit. In the end it would be worth it but again it is all up to you and how much you want to spend and how much lift you want.

eta- I have never owned a Dodge, let alone a 6 year old one
eta-2 why do they sell torsion bar keys for 2011 Dodges if it's not an option?

It certainly does not. There is only one advantage to using the Bilstein (or other companies make them as well) adjustable struts over using spacers. You are installing new struts. Otherwise suspension travel is the same either way.

The spacers only level the front end with the rear end, they aren't really a lift. They lift the front end 1" so it's level with the rear end, so don't qualify as a lift kit.

tell me how it doesn't.
your putting a 2 inch spacer on the strut. you are essentially adding 2 inches of travel length to the struts travel limit.

No you are not. The spacer goes ABOVE the strut, meaning the strut has the exact same amount of travel as it had before. Now if it was a spacer under the strut mount, you'd have a point, but the spacer is not mounted under the mount.
