Do you have a link? I just copy and pasted that exact wording and nothing came up. I was always told growing up that it was in Louisiana, but couldn’t find anything.

It is in Tennessee as well. Or was 35 years ago. When I got a ticket for doing it at the corner of Poplar and Germantown Rd in Germantown, TN. Told the officer that I had no idea you couldn't do that. Hell, I was 16. He said "Well, now you know." He was actually kind of a dick about it. lol:

I tried to cut through the Skate Galaxy parking lot at the corner of Pecue and Jefferson once and there was a cop sitting there writing tickets. I parked and went inside for a second and came back out and went on my way.

perfectly acceptable if done correctly/safely. There is a 4-lane intersection in my neighborhood, which I have to turn right to get home. If the lead car (in the right lane) is not turning right, but going straight after the light change and depending on how many cars are in line, I can easily and safely cut through the back of the Walgreens parking lot and not have to wait for the light to change.

C. No person shall drive any vehicle through or over private property, including, but not limited to, any corner parking or driveway facility, from a highway solely for the purposes of entering another highway.
