Calling Oakleys "trashy" is simply overcompensation for jealousy. I support the brands that support the sports I enjoy. Oakley has always been on the forefront of sponsorship in extreme sports like motocross, Supercross, MotoGP, etc. These are sports that take balls to participate in. Guys who lack the balls to attempt the sports that Oakley represents are quick to compensate for their lack of balls by calling Oakleys "trashy." It's not the glasses they hate - it's everything that Oakley represents that reminds the overweight couch potatoes of their shortcomings. I've proudly worn Oakleys since the mid-'80s.

Oakley would be nothing without Phil Nevin and the 1992 Cal State Fullerton baseball team. I think every single player wore them rain or shine.

Every broke dick salt lifer has a pair of costas and a yeti but oakley's are trashy?
I do own me some of these, they match my baseball uniform.
