OT Mechanics- Do you reuse squeeze clamps?

My grandfather always told me not to reuse them. But im strongly considering it on this heater core because screw clamps will be difficult to tighten in such limited space? What do you do?

Yes we reuse them unless they are stretched

Definitely re-use tension clamps. They put the correct tension without being too loose or over tight. I am a mechanic of 33 yrs.

yes, I have reused them a good bit without any problems...you damn sure don't want to frick up a new heater core trying to tighten hose clamps...

Thanks. ive always suspected he was around when they were invented and just did not like the idea of them. but you know, you do what you are taught from a young age.
