Not all BCBS policies are the same. I have a comprehensive HMO through them. Worst case would have been 100 for ER and 15 for family doc.

Isabelle.

As of now I am not on any meds, they debrided it and will look at it tomorrow. The gentleman that posted directly after you described my symptoms to a T. The hole is about a quarter of an inch in diameter and is red and inflamed all around it. I wish that they would've just taken my word for it that was twice as big today as it was yesterday. Thank you and as soon as I know something I will post it.

See if you can get a blade for a leg after they take the leg at the knee.

Good luck, srsly.

Ben is the redness around it fairly well demarcated? Did urgent care mark the edge of the redness or measure the reddened area (largest radius from edge of wound? Was tissue that was debrided blackened?

Did you say this happened yesterday, on the job? If this was on the job, covered by workman's comp.

The redness is pretty well defined, they did not mark it. They may very well have measured it, the middle was black.

It is on the side/back of my calf and hard for me to see. It looked black to me, As far as how I feel. I feel fine today, I am not saying it is related but I felt shaky and weak when I got home yesterday, I eventually got so nauseated that I threw up. Again I am sure it has nothing to do with the bite but I wasn't feeling well yesterday.

Very serious. No joking. But the earlier you get them treated, the better. I know a guy that thought it was a pimple, and popped it. Waited days to go to the doctor. Turned out to be Brown Recluse bite, and he almost lost his hand. Seriously, I would go to the hospital now through the ER, tell them to check it out.
This. A Br bite will rot the meat out. SEE A DR ASAP

LT not nice at all. I am an RN with 27 years experience and have cared for people who have suffered severely with this type of injury. I am first and foremost a patient advocate and would appreciate a little respect. Thanks

You might be on to something, I am sure she is waiting on pins and needles for the penis pics. I can only imagine her disappointment when she finds out that I don't have a clue how to post a pic. Oh well, I figure she will find a way to soldier through without them.

Isabelle, please don't take my last post as disrespect. I was really only having fun at my own expense. I want to thank you for taking time to help me.
