You got a cavity.
The tooth was mostly traumatized by the bacteria in your cavity
The removal is the final straw so the nerve says good bye. It’s extremely common and has nothing to do with a dentists skill.
Post your pre op bitewing and I’ll tell you if it’s their fault. I guarantee it’s not.
Pay your bill. Take ownership of your condition. Get it treated soon - things only get worse by waiting. Cavities are ticking time bombs. I can’t tell you how many times a day I tell a patient you have a cavity that will turn into a root canal within a few months. No appointment gets made, then they blame everyone when it hurts on Christmas Eve.
