Older Parents Say The Darndest Things

Stopped by my parents’ house and had lunch with them today.
Dad was reading the restaurant report cards in the newspaper. He said, “Dave’s Mosh Pit received a perfect score...What is a mosh pit?”
Mom said, “I think it’s Jewish.”
I thought about jumping in but decided to just let them go on thinking that a mosh pit is a Jewish deli.

Moshing or slamdancing is a style of dance in which participants push or slam into each other, typically performed in "aggressive" live music. Moshing usually happens in the center of the crowd, generally closer to the stage, in an area called the "pit". It is intended to be energetic and full of body contact.

I’m with pops on this one. I mean I know what a mosh pit is but I’d ask the same question in relation to a restaurant.
