Thanks! You too!

I got drunk and messaged the guy an interviewer from last year. I was just asking if they were taking pay cuts bc the company i was working for gave everyone 18% paycuts. He expressed interest in me joining so we have been talking for the past week. I was in textiles sales before taking this role in o&g.

The pay is definitely less but I have been stressed out by the conditions for an entire month. Then I got the call today.

I’ve also received calls from recruiters from valve companies.

We are all in this together. This time it’s not just the oil and gas industry. Everyone is hurting and there will be many over qualified people looking. My company had already laid off 30% of the corporate sales team. I thought i was almost safe until this happened. Made it through a few rounds already so it’s not performance based. Had the best quarter yet. 3 times my number from last year. Got canned today lol

how does one go about acquiring and storing crude oil?

If you start now you might have some tankage available in 3-5 years.

I’m like 99% certain that this was how Bernie Madoff’s castle went crashing.

Partially. The bigger problem is the falsified "returns".

Ponzi scheme just uses new investor money to fake "returns" to old customers. When the market becomes unfavorable and people start pulling their money out, there isn't enough to pay people back because it was already given to someone else.
