I don't think this plane ever crashed into the water. I also don't think it was shot down. that's my opinion.

Why didnt HCMC pick them up on radar then?

I also think this landed in the jungle... The third world natives with no communication are looting any necessary resources that could benefit their survival possibly. I think we will find it in hopefully a week for the sake of everyone's family

Does not compute...this is a 777 not a helicopter

I'm sticking with my theory...it's kind of like The Bachelor or Bachelorette, the cast keeps getting changed right?

So this people are going to be the new cast of "Lost"

If I remember right, the lost plane was searched for and never found but in reality, it had just slipped into some magnetic time warp system. We all know they wanted to go back at the end.

No it didn't

I couldn't help myself. That's as good a guess as anything else except the plane being stuck in cloaking mode is my fav since I came up with that possibility.

Let's split the difference. It made an "unscheduled landing"/crash somewhere and that very well could have been a jungle.

And so it begins..... off the coast of Phucket

quote:

In the evening of Mar 12th 2014 the commander of Malaysia's Air Force confirmed in a televised news conference, that an unidentified radar target was picked up at FL295 about 200nm northwest of Penang (Malaysia) (editorial note: this translates to just off the coast of Phuket (Thailand) in the Andaman Sea). As the primary radar does not identify which aircraft produced the return (other than secondary radar identifying the aircraft via the aircraft's transponder), it is not clear whether that unidentified target was MH-370. This radar observation however prompted Malaysia's Authorities to expand the search into the Strait of Malacca and Andaman Sea.

It's hard to really fathom how bizarre this is. A Boeing 777 falling out of the sky is already unheard of. But disappearing from radar? 20 plane-cloaking specialists on board? No sign of wreckage?

It's crazy

Can I get some cliffs on this? I remember reading something about it pages back, but forgot exactly what was said. This thread is a lot of shite to sift through.
