Official resigns after calling kneeling NFL players ‘baboons’

A racist Republican county official in Pennsylvania has resigned over social media posts where she called NFL players who protested by taking a knee during the national anthem “baboons” and “ignorant blacks.”

“Tired of these overpaid ignorant blacks telling me what I should believe in. I will tell you what I believe in and that is our Flag the National Anthem and America period end of story,” wrote Carla Maloney, the ex-Republican Committee of Beaver County’s secretary, on Facebook under the name Carla Belich Fueller, local outlet The Beaver Countian reported.

“You don’t like it here go to Africa see how you like it there. We are all Americans not African American not Hispanic American. WE ARE ALL AMERICAN,” she added.

Calling anyone a monkey or a baboon is fine if you think they are acting in a foolish manner.

This person decided to not just go there but wayyyy beyond.

You need to change your thread title to show what they said.

Barbecue Bob - "The Monkey And The Baboon" (1930)

Monkey and the baboon playin' in the grass
Monkey said, "Don't give me no sass"
When the baboon gave the monk a hard sock
You should see the monk do the 'Eagle Rock'

Monkey doodle-do
Monkey doodle-do
If you try to make a monkey out of me
I'll make a baboon of you

Seems like all news is fake news these days.

It amazes me people still talk about this like it really affects anyone’s life. If it does, then you need to grow up and move on.

The SJW and TDS crowd are really having to dig deep in the barrel to find stories like this.

Republican Committee of Beaver County’s secretary

Wtf does that even mean? Some secretary in a rural PA county was mouthing off on social media?

Title should be official resigns after saying NFL players should go back to Africa.

Most of them (NFL Players), probably couldn't tell you where Africa is.

She was wrong the way she approached it, but there are NFL players who do this (kneel) and they don't know why they are doing it. It's not just one thing, but a mix of reasons why kneeling - which makes it ignorant.

I think white people calling black people ignorant for excercising their rights, as “AMERICANS”, is ignorant.

On a private football field breaking policy they signed up for... rights go out the window.

NFL should’ve nipped this in the bud long ago as a policy violation. They can go kneel on the side of the interstate if they want to exercise their rights.

When they don't know what they are specifically kneeling for, that makes them ignorant.

Collectively they kneel, but individually, most aren't on the same page, but kneeling because their teammates are doing it.

Umm, rights cannot go out a window. Rights are rights. You can’t pick and choose when to enforce them. They may be breaking some unconstitutional stadium/league policy (ie would not hold up in court), but rights don’t change depending on scenario.

I don't think you understand how the constitution works.
