Very true. As is your other post about unhealthy foods being cheaper.



We see obese young children all the time at work. And we will order nutritional consults for the dietitian to visit them and discuss healthier eating for the child and family. The dietitians will tell us many times the family will obviously ignore anything they try to tell them. Just angers you when you see a young child that obese(ex a 4-5 year old almost 100 lbs) and the family not even the slightest bit concerned over it, thinking "oh he's just a big boy, he loves to eat"

I will never forget the one mother I met who fed her 4 year old NOTHING but McDonald's Chicken Nuggets.
