You are referring to Zohydro. It is about $500 for a months supply. This is another medication that is never covered by insurers because of the obscene cost.

Hydrocodone combinations have never been $4, anywhere. Tramadol used to be until it became a controlled substance. The costs of both did increase when the schedules changed.

The changes have helped some though. Prescribers are becoming more cautious these days about prescribing opiates.

Currently dealing with this right now. Havent taken a meaningful shite in 3 weeks.

My step mom was on it... i guess severe pain is one of the pitfalls of a glioblastoma. Went from oxys to methadone. I can't imagine dying of brain cancer and one of my biggest complaints is opiod based constipation.

So in the spirit of her, eat a dick op... then struggle to shite it out over 4 days.
