I'm about to start this book, listening to the Hardcore History podcast by Dan Carlin and how he talked about this book continually throughout the "Blueprint for Armageddon" series intrigued me enough to buy the book.
Obviously, with Gibbs talking about the battles of WWI and him being Britain's "war correspondent" during that time, it's going to be very gruesome due to the nature of those battles. I mean hell, that war war so bloody that Britain had to censor what was being reported.
Anybody read this book? What was your take on it?
