This is how it works everywhere I've asked. My notary expired in the spring, and I've had documents notarized at Suntrust and Regions since. Suntrust notarized for me as a customer and Regions did for my company as a customer

I’ve never heard that requirement from a title company. Is it a title company with a local office or an out of state title company?
And how would the title company know if it’s processed by a notary employed by a bank? It’s not like the employer is listed on a notarial seal.
And would the Super Notary be allowed to notarize docs in all parishes? Some notaries I know can only notarize in a specific parish but I think some notaries now can notarize docs in every parish.
