Plastic-wrapped SUV found buried behind Oklahoma home

LINK

July 27 (UPI) -- A plastic-wrapped SUV found buried in an Oklahoma family's back yard could be evidence of insurance fraud by the previous property owners, police said.

Fredie Green said the 2003 Chevy Trailblazer was found buried in the middle of a trail he and his family used for riding ATVs and motocross bikes behind their home on Bethel Rd.

That seems like a lot of work for insurance fraud.

Has to be more than insurance fraud. Maybe it was used in another crime.

No shite.

Just leave it in a bad part of town with a spare key in the ignition and the window down.

Never see it again.

Not saying it's the same thing, but a big story in Texas a few years ago was that a pristine boat was found buried underground.

Did some searching and the boat had hit a smaller boat 10 years earlier and killed a guy at night. Dude took off and left him to die.

Guy escaped justice for a decade.

I buried a Jeep Wagoneer with a track hoe years ago. That POS, like 99.9% of every jeep ever made since Willy's, would cut off every time you hit a bump. Pothole, RR track, etc. I enjoyed wadding that mofo up and burying it more than I enjoyed the Stones when they came to town the next week.

ETA: 99.9% of Jeeps do not cut off when they hit bumps, they are just pieces of shite in my experience...
