Also, while I'm at it and this will probably piss off the llot. I think the majority of you are here for the attention of these lonely desperate guys because in your head something is missing at home and hey these guys are easier than putting in the work that a relationship takes. I mean I get it who doesn't like the occasional compliment but to hide it daily for 13 years is pretty excessive.

Poor Mama Iona. She's having a rough time. I am so pissed about so many things. If she didn't have the kids she has (me a lawyer; my 2 brothers are MDs; and my 2 sisters have dual RN/Law degrees) she's be screwed. This elder care stuff has convinced me that the system is broken beyond repair and I'm going the "Kevorkian" route when the time comes.
ETA: Because of our backgrounds we have seen the mistakes that have been made. I am demanding written explanations and assurances that changes will be made to a number of poor practices. It is eyeopening and very sad.
