Meet the bulldog ant.

Bull ants are large, alert ants that can grow up to 40 mm They have characteristic large eyes and long, slender mandibles and a potent venom-loaded sting. They have superior vision, able to track and even follow intruders from a distance of 1 metre. Many species of bull ants have bright red or orange colours on the head or abdomen.

Some of the smaller species are known as jumper ants after their habit of aggressively jumping toward intruders.

I'd be more scared of the Siafu (driver ants).

Watched a show about them on the discover channel. Scary shite.

These are the same ants in the last Indian Jones movie that carried that dude off.

They literally travel as a colony, only staying put when the queen lays eggs. Then they are back on the move by the tens of millions.

They don't chase anything, but when they are swarming, if you are in their path, they will carry you off and eat you
