New Spots in NOLA

I'm taking the lady down to NOLA this coming weekend. I'm curious if there are any new, recommended, local spots to checkout? We will of course walk Jackson Square, dine at Mr B's and spin the night away on the Carousel bar. I've been to NOLA many times however the last trip was probably five years or longer. I'd prefer to have a drink at good local watering holes and eateries.
Anything in the French Quarter, Warehouse or Uptown would be appreciated including anything off the beaten path, fancy is fine. I thought I'd ask y'all coonass swamp breathers for new information.
