New Orleans has its own Hamburglar on the loose who loves to shoot up MickyDs

I can't wait to see what this gentleman actually looks like when he is finally caught but clearly he is shooting for the top of criminal acts by trying to rob the holy grail of hamburgers.

New Orleans police said the man first tried to open the locked door at the McDonald's, 1918 N. Broad St., around 5 a.m. When he could not open the door, police said the man pulled out a weapon and began shooting at the door, shattering the glass.

Around 2:40 a.m. in Jefferson Parish, a man fired at least 11 rounds at the front window of the McDonald's at 2916 Jefferson Hwy., said sheriff's spokesman Col. John Fortunato. No one was injured, Fortunato said, and nothing was taken from the restaurant.

That description is similar to the one given by employees of a McDonald's at 3025 Elysian Fields Ave. robbed last week.

New Orleans police released surveillance footage of the Nov. 22 armed robbery, and said they believed the same person is responsible for a near-identical heist three days earlier at an eastern New Orleans McDonald's, at 10001 I-10 Service Road.
