I am the ONLY one with this. We've tried different power mags. and def. the stronger one hurt.

The magnet can't come loose, it's screwed in pretty good with two screws.

If CT scan on your head is pretty good. It's not a huge deal if you HAVE to take it out, but kind of big. 3 hours maybe 2 hour surgery.

Man, they just do the surgery once, and then it's a life of just having a collar. There is no better way.

Should have just used Mr.Smith for the article. Your last name had me all screwed up trying to read that. Glad you are fixed.

I suspect if you ever needed an MRI they would have to surgically remove the magnet.

I wonder if some kind of shielding neck wrap would be possible or practical.

Do you wake up throwing up in your mouth and gasping?

No I simply snore like a motherfricker and know I don't get the rest I used to get years ago

I'm wondering if it's hereditary as I have many other male family members who suffer from it.

I wake up gagging sometimes when I don't wear my mask. Besides snoring, the biggest problem I was having were headaches in the morning.

Congrats on the improvement, OP.

Going in for a sleep study at the VA next month myself. Shift work on active duty messed up my body clock a little bit--wifey says I snore a lot more now and/or stop breathing while I sleep, and I consistently only get about 3-4 hrs of sleep a night (I wake up rested though--it's weird).

Man, I thought I was getting 3 or 4 hours sleep a night.. then the sleep study said I was just going unconscious and getting no REM sleep. NONE.

Walking zombie for years. I had no idea how bad I was until the sleep study.

Get a sleep study anybody reading this that has big snoring or worse probs.
