I did not expect Ishii to get the fall over Naito
ETA: Ishii vs. Sabre, Jr. in the semifinals... about a 100 lb weight differential

don't know if it was a mistake or not... but on Wiki someone already marked the Finals of the US Title tournament as Omega vs. Sabre, Jr.
ETA: and it's been deleted

so my thought for immediately building up the new United States Heavyweight Championship...
put the belt on Kenny Omega tomorrow... even though he could be considered too big for this particular belt (meaning he should be feuding for the Heavyweight Championship)... he just went through a 60 minute draw with Okada just a few weeks ago where at the end of it he said he needed to go back to the bottom and rebuild himself back up
Omega... as US Champ... enters a feud for leadership of the Bullet Club with Cody Rhodes... with the US Title essentially as filler
it ends in a way where Omega is still a top dog but Cody has the belt... that way Cody becomes the top guy of the new US brand of NJPW (perhaps with the Bullet Club which already has a huge following in the US)
while Omega returns right back to the top of the card in Japan as a top face... perhaps allowing him and Naito, as top heel, to eventually feud over the IWGP Heavyweight Championship

Kind of hope Lethal wins
Lethal makes sense seeing that A) he's actually American and B) he does have an American following from his TNA & ROH success
but the belt's got to be defended in Japan for a few months before the American offshoot begins... and Lethal's not all that big in Japan

Then Ishii that violent fricker

of the last 4 I think it really HAS to be Omega
but the champ will come out of the Lethal/Omega match

I still have a hard time wrapping my head around the fact that grown men actually watch this stuff.
Why, because its fake? If thats the case most of everything you see on tv is fake as well. Even the news these days, sadly.
If its just not your thing thats fine.
