Hell yeah, brother. Also a reminder that the origin of the holiday goes back to a woman from Georgia who pushed for women to set aside a day each year to decorate the graves of soldiers. It happened first across the south and they decorated the graves regardless of which side they fought for.

Those people who had just fought a war had more respect for each other than we do today.

Everyday that passes, I miss my grandfather and his generation even more. They knew what it really meant to sacrifice, work, love, and to be grateful for what you have. They’re what built this country, and now our country is full of spoiled and selfish brats. I’m afraid some very hard lessons are in store for us in the future. Victim mentality is killing this country. We can not think this way and remain the top dog in the world.
