I guess we will go look at Speed Queens today. After reading some of the reviews on the brands we looked at that only had the auto water or deep water level. She said there is no way she wanted a washer that doesn’t have someway of changing the water level other than letting the machine decide or a full tube. The only thing with the Speed Queens I see is the washer is only 3.2CuFt our current washer is 4.3CuFt.

Washer and dryer all in one that shite is legit
We had one in the house when we moved in. I had to replace about a part a month for a year until we pulled it to the front door and I hooked it to my truck and drug it to the curb. Total POS garbage.

Maytag or kenmore with agitator. Get the one with least electronic board possible. Don’t let square ft fool you. The difference between most of those numbers is the size of a shirt.

If you're gonna try to save money, definitely don't need to spend much on the dryer. Had to replace mine last year. Bought a GE for about $350. Works great.
Washers are where you can really blow a bunch of money.
Seriously, look for a Sears Appliance Outlet near you. You can find really good prices on things that may only have slight cosmetic damage to them. Bought my SS fridge and range there a few years back and saved over 60 percent.

Well the wife went looked at Speed Queens this morning. I had read so much about them already I told her I didn't need to see it in person. I told here to look at the low end one and the middle tier. I knew she didn't want the one with the push buttons on it. If she did we would have bought a Whirlpool last night. The washer was delivered at lunch and the dryer will be sometime next week because we needed a gas one. I asked her what did the sales person tell her that made her buy it right there. She said nothing special it just had all the same function as our old Kenmores.
eta: Now if it doesn't clean the cloths I'm off the hook because she bought it.

LG
Get a cheap dryer like a GE or something for around $400. Your wife will want one that matches the washer. When she mentions it divorce her. A good washer is more important than a good dryer

Speed Queen bought on Amazon. Truck rolled up and delivered just like that.
