do most local type places allow you to buy your own pads and bring them? im not doing the job myself. guess im not manly enough

If the rotors aren't damaged it takes longer to remove the tire than to change the pad. The pads are held in with 2 pins that slide out

Just changed brake pads on my truck and GF car Sunday morning. Took all of 2 hours and that was only because of the way the jap automakers bolt the calipers on.. I would have been done 45 minutes earlier if I didn't fight that.
