Need mechanic help 2013 Chevrolet 2500

It's an automatic. I went to shift from D to P and the shift went loose and now it's stuck in neutral.

Should be under warranty. Have dealership tow it and use one of their loaners. Let them figure it out.

I had a 1976 Vega with the same problem.

If you know what you are doing, you can still drive the truck. You will have to get under the truck and manually move the gear selector on the transmission to drive.

Yea I climbed under and the linkage has come off. Got it back on and good to go

Went through a gate crossing with chunks of concrete in the mud and one moist have knocked it loose
