I'm not so much concerned with 13's answer as azranod's. Because he didn't speak so ignorantly in the first place

Lol. Please please tell me at what point in your life did you actually make the decision to pursue women over men

I'm not ignorant, nor have I spoken ignorantly. I know exactly what I speak of, but because I don't want to answer something so utterly personal, I'm lying?

I will say that it is a choice for some people such as Anne Heche who dabbled in lesbianism. It seemed more like a publicity stunt.

However, I believe that the vast majority of gay people are born that way. Why would someone choose to live a lifestyle that subjects them to a life of being ridiculed, looked down upon, and generally being social outcasts?

I have no problem with gay folks. Lot of them in this town and a couple are friends of mine. I find flamers and the "pride" folks extremely irritating though.

This X's 100000

And like I said earlier I would think denying the sexuality you were born with would be harder to do.

Every bisexual woman I've ever met was molested by an adult male relative as a child. Most "gay" males had poor relationships with either their father or grandfather.

its easier for chicks to try out being gay. Dudes? I'd imagine you'd have to be pretty fricking committed to the idea.

I hear you, Roger. I have gay friends and they are really good guys/gals. The extremes of any group annoy me -- hetero or homo.

jm, living a lie has got to be the saddest way to live one's life.

I understand and agree with your assessment. I cannot ever see me getting that committed.

I've never been gay. So I don't know.

That's a question only a gay person can answer.

thats why I figure they ain't bullshitting about it or "experimenting". There might be some that go both ways but by and large gay guys mean it.

It's not denying a sexuality you were born with, as sexuality is a choice. Certain factors can trigger feelings of detachment, insecurity, and isolation.

Oh wait. I read further

I do think there's a genetic component. But I don't believe you're born gay. I think it is mostly nurture vs nature
