This is why you don't take medical advice from the OT. It's not anaphylactic shock you fricking idiot. It's a periodontal abscess
How some of you are capable of walking, talking, tying your shoes...any of it... It is completely beyond me.
ETA: for those with a similar situation and in pain. Take a tea bag with strong black tea in it. Moisten it with warm water. Place next to the abscess like a pouch. The tannins will relieve some swelling in the short term.
