All three of my labs are inside and snuggled up. Had to put the thunder buddy on my little scaredy lab. Poor naby

Going to be a long one for my dog as well. I'll just let her sleep in my bedroom tonight.

Depending on the size of the dog, up to a quarter (small) or half (for large) of a weak Xanax.

i used to have a dog that hated fireworks and thunder. I left her outside during the day on an enclosed back porch when I was at school. It hailed one day and it traumatized her forever.
Every time a thunderstorm came up she would freak out. B

Our 5 year old PWD doesn't really care but we got a lab puppy for Christmas, so this will be her first "firework holiday".

Fingers crossed that she doesn't care either.

Normally I can deal with it but the infant makes it that much harder.

Oh, totally.

But then you'll blink and be like me with a house full of tween girls and waiting for a 16 year old boy to get home from a party on his first NYE as a driver.

Both stages/ages are hard on Mom and Dad.

lol

But in case you're being serious, no, they didn't bother her at all.

My labradoodle is fresking out right now. Panting and shaking like crazy. Sounds like a damn war zone here. Even our cat is traumatized.
