The thing about visiting Buc-ee’s to me isn’t necessarily the clean bathrooms or dank kolaches (both true), it’s that it just gives me a big patriotic boner. The size, scale, breadth of offerings, and efficiency of the whole operation, while paying their employees about twice the minimum wage plus benefits, is capitalism at its absolute finest.
