$5500 to replace a motor

NEVER buy a GM 2.4L 4-cyl..... biggest POS I’ve ever owned

$5500 motor. Burned through its oil and seized just a couple weeks after a change. Recall on it but we were 800miles over the cutoff

$1800 cracked exhaust manifold and pollution sensors on the same vehicle as well

I just had a customer spend $110,000 on an engine rebuild this past month.

This was on a 2004 Ford Expedition changed at the dealership. It was actually a shade over 900. We were leaving on vacation the next day and didn’t have time to shop around.
