To be fair… IMO AEW has better matches weekly… and the ppvs seem to be better the the WWE.

They've botched this entire run up to Mania but their worst is still better than the AFW product. I've tried to watch Dynamite since it was put on MAX but I rarely stick with it. Frankly, Sasha is an instant prompt to turn it off and are the fricks and Toni. Osprey, Bayne, and (somewhat) Omega are the only people Tony hasn't managed to frick up yet. If you need proof of this, just look at the exodus of talent to WWE. The big one has been the face of WWE for the past year, the brothers are getting big pushes, and then you have Rusev/Black/Starks leaving. The big FAs are asking to go to NXT over a main card spot with AFW.
Frankly this Wrestlemania is all about the premium TKO is getting from Vegas (same mindset as Saudi) and the build hasn't been much better than the build they had for the Netflix premiere. Vegas dictated it being this weekend because they have empty rooms during Christian holidays. They're running wrestling on east coast time but then selling all of these add-ons for the traditional busy times in Vegas.
Nothing shows this better than them starting the HOF at 1am EDT. Vince would never go for screwing his original territory like that and HHH/Dwayne/Steph should be ashamed of not using their voices to stop it. Let's take a look at the schedule (Vegas time):

ETA: I don't think I could do that McAfee Friday 9am start through Sunday at 4am (the first opportunity for more than 4 hours of sleep). I don't think i could've done it at any age. Prayers for the suckers spending their grandkid's college fund to attempt it.

All I was talking about the matches themselves. The rest of AEW is a bad product. They seem to just take it up a notch in PPV matches.

I also think another issue with the build up is last year. Last year you had the end of a 3 or 4 year storyline. The build up was easy bc everyone was already invested

I mean yes but they had a perfect set up with the whole rock thing leading into EC and now it feels like it didn’t matter at all. Cena could’ve turned heal without all that if that’s what they wanted.

Now the necklace has disappeared and Solo's only chance to get on the card is if they go with him over Black as KO's replacement. (Him fighting off with Randy last week provides a bit of storyline.) 2 weeks is not going to convince people not to use that match as a piss break. The better decision would've been a Triple Threat between Solo, Jacob, and LA Knight.

They’ve done solo a disservice since the Roman match. Dudes finisher is arse but he’s a good wrestler
