It definitely did to my ear as well.

That’s why I don’t understand why anyone would want to have any part of broadcasting in this day and age.

Your job is literally to fill silence with your words - for sometimes hours. That’s insane.

The more words you are spewing they higher the chances that you make some sort of flub that will not only end your career but possibly get publicly ostracized.

I don’t know anything about that guy or anything beyond what I’ve read in the past couple days - but if it was just a flub - it was the absolute worst flub a broadcaster can make.
